yarrrrnnnnn things for sale!

ok i've been knitting and crocheting in every available second of the last few weeks, and tomorrow is the day it's been leading up to. i have 14 items (2 hats, 1 ski mask, 2 mitt pairs, 4 beer cozies, 1 wine cozy, 2 ear muff pairs, 2 bootie pairs), all washed, priced (adding up to a total of $276), and ready to be sold.

apparently the show got a write up in city beat that went like this:

Look the part: San Diego has been phat with fashion during these last couple of weeks. If you have yet to attend one of these stylizing events, this is your chance. At 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, the Whistle Stop Bar, 2236 Fern St. in South Park, will resemble Nordstrom—only the stuff for sale won't be so mainstream and dull. Local indie chicks will be selling their handmade purses, makeup bags, hats, knitted scarves and more.

i am very excited and nervous, this could be the beginning of awesome things to come...

so i want people to be there!! i haven't been in touch with you guys lately i know, but if anyone reads this before sunday at 8pm and is in san diego and able to head over to the whistlestop (coughnorbertcough), or if anyone is further north and has the night free and wants to drive down and hang out at kilas and dance it up after the crafts (coughabeandroycough), i would lovve to see you!! and of course, anyone at all who might be interested in the craft show (friends of friends or something)... yeah spread the word about the show if you know people in san diego....
